Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Practice with a passion for customer service, to manage a fast paced specialist medical centre in Geelong and also Werribee.

Responsibilities include:

  • Effective, positive supervision and leadership of staff to ensure the smooth running of practice functions
  • Coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and appraisals of staff and practitioners
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, budgets, allocations, payroll, analysing data and reporting
  • Review and monitor systems, processes, and procedures and recognise and implement changes and improvements as necessary
  • Carry out and attend regular staff/practitioner meetings
  • Drive a strong culture of safety, respect, and quality that permeates all aspect of Practice operations
  • Maintain awareness of current and introduced legislation ensuring the business is compliant with statutory regulation and regulatory obligations
  • Must be proficient in Genie medical software

Skills required:

  • A strong background in Practice Management,office administration and customer service in a medical centre environment
  • Proven record in leading teams and an a high level of leadership skills 
  • The ability to be able to work in a high pressure fast paced environment
  • Proficient skills across medical based software (preferably Genie) and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to problem solve on the spot with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience in Medical or Health sector environments is essential
