Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Urgent Care Centre

About the facility
The Urgent Care Centre is a dynamic and innovative service providing clinical care for those with minor injury and illness alongside highly skilled Nurse Practitioners.
It is located within the new Barwon Health North facility alongside Barwon Medical Imaging, numerous Community and Allied Health Services and has strong links to the University Hospital Geelong Emergency Department.
About the role
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will already possess excellent clinical, leadership and management skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in generating new ideas and committing to continuous improvement.
Working alongside highly skilled Nurse Practitioners, you will be guided by best practice to achieve positive patient outcomes.
You will also provide leadership in the planning, delivery and evaluation of a high quality Nursing Services within Barwon Health North (BHN) whilst developing a professional and collaborative partnership in the overall operations of BHN.
This role will allow you to work across a number of directorates and programs (including Urgent Care, Renal Dialysis, Barwon Medical Imaging, Chronic Disease and Paediatric Services).
