  • Temporary part time – 64 hours per fortnight (until 31/05/2022)
About the facility

The Department of Medicine Clinical Trial Unit has been conducting clinical research for over 20 years. Having an established reputation for research in endocrinology, focusing on diabetes and osteoporosis, the Clinical Trial Unit has also conducted studies in Infectious Diseases and Paediatrics since 2008 and 2013 respectively.

About the role

The Barwon Health Clinical Trial Unit seeks a qualified Clinical Trial Coordinator to run several clinical trials in the areas of Endocrinology, Paediatrics and Infectious Diseases. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination and conduct of clinical trials and assisting other team members.

To be successful in this role you must have previous clinical trial experience, good Clinical Practice Training, good computer skills and be willing to work in a team as well as autonomously.

Duties of your role include, but are not limited to:
  • Treating participants with care, compassion, dignity and respect at all times, taking into account cultural sensitivities to ensure participants experience are in line with BH values.
  • Providing participants with timely, accurate, up to date information regarding the trial.
  • Building relationships to ensure the successful implementation of research projects and deliverable outcomes.
