AOD Clinician - 16 hours per week until June 30 2021
Colac Area Health currently has an opportunity for a AOD clinician to join our Family and Community Programs team
The successful applicant will have;
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology and/or related field.
- Experience in the delivery of relevant clinical work preferably within AOD sector
- Understanding and experience in current evidence based practice framework and interventions that include trauma informed care, family inclusive practice and culturally safe practices
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people and families experiencing problematic alcohol and other drug use in a respectful, compassionate , collaborative and productive way.
- Demonstrated understanding of community based interventions for reducing alcohol and drug related harm.
- A demonstrated commitment to a positive team culture
- Current Drivers Licence

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Victorian Police Check and complete a Statutory Declaration as per the Aged Care Principles prior to commencement of employment. Some positions will also require a WWC Check.
