About the facility
The Practice Development Unit supports clinical staff by engaging and enabling clinicians to implement best practice with a major focus on consumer-centred care. The unit consists of a small team who enthusiastically engage with individuals and teams to advance the use of evidence based practice and evaluate the clinical effectiveness of care.
About the role
If you enjoy being challenged and want to make a difference to clinical outcomes this is the role for you. The Wound Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary teams to provide leadership for the management of consumers with wound or skin integrity needs. As the successful candidate you will consult and provide clinical leadership and expert advice. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the Safety and Quality team to maintain compliance with the relevant National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
