We are working with a Geelong based client who are searching for a Sales Representative to join their team on a full time basis based out of Geelong

The Company

Our client is a local Geelong business committed to providing a solution-based service to their clients in the fields of Fire Protection, Industrial Painting & Sandblasting. They are one of the very few companies in Victoria that can provide an entire fire proofing solution for their growing client base.

The company is continuing to grow, and as a result they are searching for a new Sales Representative to work within a team to manage the sales and quoting pipeline with the aim of meeting client expectations by delivering quality work on time.

The Role & Duties

The role will include a combination of the following:

  • Creating professional working relationships with clients
  • Ensuring client expectations are met while completing and prioritising quotes by required deadlines
  • Paying close attention to the finer details involved with each new job to understand its unique requirements
  • Manage all aspects of the sales pipeline process including new leads through to handover to our delivery team
  • Document each step in the sales process including notes on customer interactions
  • Contribute to lead generation and new business opportunities
  • Additional duties to be advised on application

  • High level digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Essential), Project management tools and sales systems
  • High level attention to detail and administrative skills
  • High level organisational and planning skills
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills - Both written and verbal
  • The ability to build relationships and rapport at all levels
  • The ability to influence, negotiate and lead customers to making a decision
  • Knowledge of product and construction processes or the ability to quickly learn new concepts related to construction industry
