The Role:

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated and driven individual to join our Regional Builders team in the position of Desktop Supervisor.

The focus of this diverse role will be to be to schedule trades during the building reinstatement process. You will provide regular updates to customers, ensure a high level of service is always provided and manage general administration tasks.

The successful applicant will be based in our Geelong office location.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Engage, coordinate & manage a diverse network of trades & suppliers
  • Coordinate access to properties with occupants & trades throughout the reinstatement process
  • Deliver strong customer service outcomes via consistent & relevant communication with stakeholders
  • Manage customer expectations throughout the job lifecycle.
  • Ensure all inspections & all relevant documentation is signed off during & at completion of projects
  • Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OHS requirements
  • Dispute resolution where required
  • Assist in organising contracts, processing quotes & updating variations
  • Support & assist the administration team when required

Key Selection Criteria:

Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? Do you want the opportunity to potentially work your way into a partnership? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team. The following selection criteria is also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.

  • Administration, Customer Service & Scheduling background
  • Construction or Insurance industry experience or qualification highly regarded, however not essential
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Highly computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Can-do & positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn & start from the ground up in a fast-moving organisation & team
  • Valid Australian driver licence
