Gordon TAFE and MBAV go the extra mile to introduce the Trades to students

Master Builders Association Victoria (MBAV), in conjunction with The Gordon TAFE, in Geelong have together come up with an exceptionally effective orientation tool to introduce the trades to secondary students, years 9 to 12.  This month, students from various schools who had expressed an interest in the building and construction industry in Geelong were taken by bus to both a commercial and a domestic site, where they were guided through the trades in operation, with qualified experts plus were given the opportunity to try-out some trades, such as Bricklaying. This is the newest of many ways for student’s considering their career options to get up close and Try-Our Trade.
