The classroom teacher classification comprises two salary ranges- range 1 and range 2. The primary focus of the classroom teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. This is a fantastic chance to become a remote hearing expert within the Court and contribute to planning in relation to the potential expansion of remote hearings in Magistrates' Court locations across the state.
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The Family Violence Remote Hearing Registrar will play a critical role in the Court's Family Violence Remote Hearing Trial.
Will work collaboratively with the judiciary, registrars and key partner agencies to meaningfully assist people experiencing family violence.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
An advanced understanding of the Court's protocols and procedures particularly in relation to the family violence intervention order jurisdiction.
